Heatmiser

Heatmiser is a leading UK manufacturer of smart thermostats and underfloor heating controls and central heating controls, known for its innovative Neo range. Whether you prefer wired or wireless installation, Heatmiser thermostats can be managed locally or remotely via the NeoHub app, enabling you to adjust heating and hot water from anywhere.

Popular models include the Heatmiser Slimline‑E V3 Thermostat, a programmable controller with 7‑day scheduling, eco and frost modes that’s ideal for electric underfloor heating. The Heatmiser NeoAir Smart Thermostat is a battery‑powered wireless unit that controls heating and communicates with the NeoHub for remote access. For discreet temperature monitoring, the Heatmiser Thimble Sensor mounts unobtrusively in a backplate or ceiling tile and works with any Heatmiser thermostat that supports remote sensing.

Heatmiser questions we get asked

Where can I find the Heatmiser UH8 wiring diagram?
It is in the Heatmiser UH8 manual (PDF), free to download. The UH4 wiring diagram is in the Heatmiser UH4 manual (PDF).

Which Heatmiser wiring centre do I need?
Choose by the number of zones and the type of thermostat. The UH4 handles 4 zones and the UH8 8 zones, both with 230V thermostats. Use the UH8-N with 12V neoStats, and the UH8-RF with wireless neoAir or Slimline-RF thermostats.

Do I need a neoHub to control Heatmiser Neo thermostats from my phone?
Yes. The neoHub connects to your broadband router and gives app control of up to 32 Neo thermostats and devices, with no subscription. Without it, the thermostats still work normally on the wall.

Which Heatmiser thermostat is best for electric underfloor heating?
The neoStat-e V2 if you want app control (with a neoHub), or the Slimline-E V3 for a simple programmable option. Both switch up to 16A.

Can I have a fully wireless Heatmiser system?
Yes. Pair neoAir or Slimline-RF thermostats with a UH8-RF wiring centre, and use an RF-Switch for a wireless boiler link. A Boost v2 repeater extends the range in larger homes.
