Salus Quantum smart thermostats

Salus underfloor heating controllers, wiring centres and actuators

Salus questions we get asked

Where can I find the Salus SQ610 thermostat manual?
It is in the Salus SQ610 manual (PDF), free to download. The wireless version has its own SQ610RF datasheet (PDF).

What is the difference between the Salus SQ610 and SQ610RF?
The SQ610 is a 230V thermostat that can be hard wired or used as an RF unit. The SQ610RF is battery powered with a rechargeable battery, so it needs no mains wiring and can go anywhere in the room.

Do I need a gateway to control Salus thermostats from my phone?
Yes. The UG800 connects to your broadband router and links your Salus Smart Home devices to the app. Items such as the smart plug and smart button also need a Salus gateway to work.

Which Salus underfloor heating controller do I need?
For a wired system, the CB500 controls 5 zones and the CB500X extension takes it up to 15. For a wireless system, the KL08RF handles 8 zones and up to 24 actuators.

Can I use Salus actuators on other manifolds?
Yes. The 230V and 24V actuators have a universal M30 x 1.5mm thread and fit UFH Direct, Wunda, Emmeti and Heatmiser manifolds.
